Daily quests are objectives in MTG Arena that reward gold upon completion and refresh each day. A new quest is added to your queue daily, and you can hold up to three at a time without losing progress. Completing them consistently is the single most reliable free-to-play gold income source in the game.

Quests typically ask you to cast spells of specific colours, deal damage with creatures of a certain type, or win games using particular strategies. They reward either 500 or 750 gold depending on their difficulty, and you can reroll one quest per day if the active quest doesn’t fit your current deck.

Daily Quests and the Free-to-Play Economy

Gold from daily quests feeds directly into Arena’s pack economy. At 1,000 gold per booster pack, completing two quests worth 500 gold each gets you a pack every day with nothing left over, while completing 750-gold quests means you exceed that threshold and accumulate gold faster. Over a full month, consistent quest completion provides enough gold for a meaningful number of packs and contributes to wildcard accumulation.

Daily quests stack with the weekly win rewards, which provide additional gold and card rewards for your first fifteen wins each week. Players who complete their daily quest and earn a few weekly wins each day accelerate their collection significantly faster than players who log in sporadically.

Using Rerolls Effectively

You get one free reroll per day. It’s worth using your reroll if you have a 500-gold quest and the reroll might give you a 750-gold quest — over time, consistently converting 500-gold quests into 750-gold ones adds up. However, rerolling a 750-gold quest for a chance at another one is a neutral expectation play at best, and sometimes results in getting a 500-gold quest instead.

Strategic tip

Log in daily even on days you don’t have time to play — your quest queue generates a new quest each day, but if you’re already at three queued and don’t log in, you stop accumulating. A quick daily login keeps the queue cycling so quests are ready when you do have time to play through them.
